no lançamento do livro.
Mas o grande Shakespeare não
tem nada a ver com isso

this sceptered isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,

This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,

Contra as invasões e as guerras,

moderno: THIS PRECIOUS STONE SET IN A
SILVER SEA
I decided
to ask my friends and family about their own local travel experiences. My
findings were rather shocking; I discovered that whilst many people had visited
places of interest abroad, few including myself, had taken advantage of the
riches on our doorstep.
London is
historically saturated with majestic museums, wondrous palaces, inspirational
art galleries and stunning cathedrals. On “this sceptred isle” we are
privileged to have so many natural and manmade beauties - our island brims with
deep lakes, momentous mountains, iconic cities and enthralling coastlines – and
yet, do we visit what is on our doorstep? (http://www.richmondandtwickenhamtimes.co.uk, 31 January 2017)
